Pastoral Assistant
Cat Holbert
If you need someone who can navigate a complex life transition, offer a steady presence in a crisis, and also light a campfire in a sudden downpour, Cat Holbert is your person.
With over two decades of experience in camp and retreat leadership, Cat has officially mastered the art of "sacred hospitality." She has spent twenty years creating spaces where people can let their guard down, find rest, and be met exactly where they are—sticky marshmallow fingers, heavy hearts, and all. As our Congregational Care Pastoral Assistant, she brings that same warm, judgment-free energy to supporting our community through grief, illness, and the everyday messy chapters of life.
Currently pursuing a graduate degree in nature-based counseling, Cat loves to blend clinical helping skills with pastoral warmth. They are big believers in family systems, trauma-informed care, and the profound healing power of "touching grass." Whether offering a listening ear over coffee or advocating for an outdoor walk to clear the mind, they are dedicated to helping people find grounding and hope right here in the beautiful Prescott area.
